5. Teaching observations.
Article 9.3.3 Developmental Review of Teaching of the Faculty Handbook states that “When the Department Chair determines that a (tenured) faculty member’s teaching does not meet Departmental teaching performance standards (as defined by the Department and approved by the Dean and the Vice President for Academic Affairs), the Chair meets with the faculty member to review the teaching.”
The Department Chair has made no such determination, so no teaching observations have taken place since I was awarded tenure.
