I just wanted to take a moment to report on my sabbatical research here in California so far. I have just settled in back in San Diego after the cross country drive, several days documenting the Border Memorial project in Arizona and delivering a paper and presentation at the the Engineering Reality of Virtual Reality conference in San Francisco where the project was featured prominently.
I will now take up residence at the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts at UCSD for the month of February, where I will be working on a variety of projects under a broad proposal, Augmented Reality as Public Art.
